The fall season is officially underway for Gold Ice. Music has been picked, goals have been set, and all 7 of our teams are back on the ice working hard.
For the 2018-2019 season, Gold Ice will be fielding teams in the following categories:
Our Novice and Junior teams worked hard during the off-season to improve on both their on and off ice skills and are excited about the progress of their programs so far. Novice has set some very high goals and look forward to competing in a category with many new teams this season. The Junior team is especially excited about the opportunity to represent Canada at an International competition.
The Pre-Juvenile, Juvenile, and Pre-Novice teams enjoyed a short summer break and were back on the ice in August for choreography camp. They’ve been getting into character and working hard on new elements
In September an excited group of skaters brand new to synchro took to the ice as a part of Gold Ice Beginner 1. They are having so much fun learning new elements and skills and bonding as a team.
And finally our Adult 3 team begun training a few weeks ago and as always, are enjoying training hard and getting to know new teammates. There are still. a few positions available on this team and any interested skaters are asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ve posted some sneak peaks of our program themes on our YouTube channel. Go check it out!
Where can you see our teams?
The annual Gold Ice Gala is set for Saturday November 24th. All of our teams will perform their programs in front of an audience of friends, family, and fans. We are pleased to also welcome guest teams and skaters to the show. Stay tuned for exciting announcements!
