Gold Ice has landed in Vancouver for the 2014 Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships!
After a season of hard work and dedication, Gold Ice Novice andOpen are ready to lay it all on the line this week. Competing against teams from coast-to-coast, both teams are looking strong and ready to skate their best.
The event is running February 20 – 22 at the Bill Copeland Sports Centre in Burnaby BC. First to hit the ice will be Gold Ice Novice tomorrow and Friday, while the Open team competes Friday and Saturday.
The championships will host approximately 800 skaters and coaches on 41 teams. Teams are competing for national titles and the top two senior teams will qualify to represent Canada at the 2014 ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships from April 4-5, in Courmayeur, Italy.
