In just two short days eight Gold Ice teams are heading to London, Ontario for the 2018 Ontario Regional Synchronized Skating Championships. Teams will be competing to be crowned Ontario Champions and this event also serves as the qualifier for the 2018 Skate Canada National Synchronized Skating Championships for our Novice, Junior, and Open teams.
Our Juvenile, Novice, and Open teams are heading into the weekend as defending silver medalists. All three teams set high goals this season and have their sights set on being back on the podium again. This regionals marks the debut for our Pre-Juvenile, Pre-Novice and Junior teams and they can’t wait to show everyone what they’ve been up to. And finally our Adult 1 and 2 teams have also been hard at work and are looking forward to competing again.
If you’re in the London area, we encourage you to come out and cheer our teams on live at the Middlesex Wellness Centre in Komoka.
